Photos: ‘Super Salad Week’
As part of the 2015 Active For Life (AFL) Challenge employees challenged themselves to have a salad each day for lunch. Teams got together and hosted salad potlucks and salad parties to celebrate.
Participants tried out old salad favorites, such as simple leafy greens like lettuce and spinach, and also experimented with new salad creations. Teams enjoyed eating healthy and light all week long.
AFL participants then e-mailed team salad photos to email@example.com.
Active For Life is a nation-wide wellness program sponsored by the American Cancer Society. This eight-week voluntary program encourages Argonne employees to begin and/or maintain an active, physically fit lifestyle.
Employees form wellness teams to set individual and team wellness goals. The teams compete against one another internally within the Argonne Laboratory community and as a laboratory whole against other U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) complex laboratories.
