JumpStart: Workday pro tips and techniques
Get your Workday questions answered and learn “power user” techniques to get more of out the laboratory’s new employee information system at the next JumpStart meeting Aug. 13.
The informal, lunchtime brown-bag session will be held in the Building 213 Cafeteria Private Dining Room from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is no cost, no registration is required, and all are welcome to bring their lunches.
Presenter Norah Blackaller (HR) was part of the core project to bring Workday to the laboratory and configure it for Argonne. She will cover the basics and some advanced techniques for getting the most out of the system, and set aside some time for questions and answers.
The JumpStart series is a friendly, informal forum for employees to develop new tools and knowledge that will enable individual and collective success. We hope to inform R&D employees about the mission support services available to help them do their jobs more efficiently and effectively.
Along the way, the meetings will provide opportunities for the laboratory’s mission support employees to partner with R&D organizations.
The format is a monthly brown-bag meeting at lunchtime in the Building 213 Cafeteria. Meetings will include 30 to 45 minutes of presentation followed by Q&A. When available, presentation materials will be made available on the Jumpstart website on Inside Argonne (Login required).
