Applications for Spring 2016 Innovation Fund closing soon
The deadline for the Spring Cohort is Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
The University of Chicago Innovation Fund is a $20 million fund that invests in early business development and proof-of-concept work for projects and ventures created by faculty, students and staff.
The Innovation Fund awards grants and invests in promising technologies and start-ups that have a high potential for societal and commercial impact, helping them to bridge the gap between basic research funding and commercial investment. The Innovation Fund makes investments ranging from $20,000 to $250,000, enabling teams to reach critical milestones, paving the way for commercialization, market validation or external funding.
