JumpStart: Technology Award Programs – Tips for Success
Argonne researchers are invited to attend a JumpStart session on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, aimed at helping them understand the process for submitting entries in technology award programs as well as the support that’s available to them from lab staff.
The presentation/discussion will cover multiple topics, including:
- Why it is beneficial for researchers and the lab as a whole to submit entries in these programs and win awards
- Specifics about the various award programs
- How the submission process works
The session is being hosted by Argonne’s Communications, Education and Public Affairs Division and its Technology Development and Commercialization Division. Both divisions play a role in helping researchers navigate the process and put their best foot forward.
The informal meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Bldg. 213 Cafeteria Conference Room. All employees are welcome – feel free to bring your lunch. The session will be streamed live on Blue Jeans (Meeting ID: 987454498).
The JumpStart series is a friendly, informal forum for employees to develop new tools and knowledge that will enable individual and collective success.
JumpStart is a series of monthly brown-bag meetings at lunchtime. Meetings include 30 to 45 minutes of presentation followed by Q&A. When available, presentation materials will be made available on the JumpStart website on Inside Argonne.
