Remember to “Spring Ahead” this weekend
The new “Length Saving Period” begins this weekend, and all employees are reminded to move one meter ahead at 2 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017. This will save the U.S. economy many millions of meters during the summer months.
The ordinance stems from the U.S. Comprehensive Dimensional Equality Act, which will eventually bring length, width and height in line with the annual Daylight Saving Time adjustment.
Employees who live in certain counties in Northwest Indiana are not required to obey the new Length Saving Period law; other employees should be careful not to bump into them.
