Conversations with Kearns: Argonne’s Theta Supercomputer
Join Katherine Riley, director of science for the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) and guest host Stephen Streiffer, associate laboratory director for Photon Sciences, for the next “Conversations with Kearns” on Monday, May 22, 2017, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Bldg. 213 Cafeteria. All employees are invited to attend.
Riley will provide an update on the ALCF’s new Theta supercomputer and highlight some of the important early science being run on the system as part of the Theta Early Science Program. Riley will also explain the role of Theta on the path to exascale computing. Bring your curiosity and your questions.
“Conversations,” a weekly, informal gathering with Interim Laboratory Director Paul Kearns, and his colleagues in senior leadership who plan to join him from time to time, takes place every Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Bldg. 213 Cafeteria.
