Updated Dash application offers users two versions
An updated version of the Dash application, launched on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2017, provides a new, web-based “light” client for application access, in addition to the “full” version. For most users, the light client provides all of the functionality they will need on a regular basis. For “power” users, those who are doing printing and file manipulation directly from Dash, the full version, which uses a locally-installed Citrix receiver, is still the recommended method to access Dash. The full client version allows for easy saving of files to your local computer, and easy printing to device queues on your local computer.
Users of Dash can easily switch between the light and full client versions. When logged in to the light version of Dash, click on your name in the upper right-hand side of the main screen and choose “Change Citrix Receiver.”
