Learn the four tips for healthy shoulders
You’re invited to attend “No Need to ‘Shoulder’ Pain, Keep Shoulders Limber,” on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:35 p.m. in the Building 402 Lower Gallery.
Led by Physical Therapy Assistant JoAnn “Joni” Garcia (HEW), the 20-minute interactive lunchtime class will focus on the four tips for healthy shoulders:
- Stretch your shoulders daily and maintain good posture.
- Be aware of the difference between muscle fatigue and shoulder pain.
- Learn how to reduce your risk of common conditions like bicipital tendonitis and shoulder impingement.
- Keep the rotator cuff strong.
Participants will earn 1,000 Virgin Pulse points for attending this course. Virgin Pulse points count towards Argonne’s Incentivized Wellness Program.
Participants are welcome to bring their lunch.
