9-1-1 reminder cards at the gates on Sept. 11
Laboratory leaders will greet drivers at Argonne’s gates on Tuesday morning, Sept. 11, 2018, to hand out 9-1-1 Hotline reference cards. The cards, which easily clip to a badge or lanyard, provide a handy reminder of when and how to call for both emergency and non-emergency assistance.
The 9-1-1 Hotline system is a crucial tool for protecting and preserving the health and safety of Argonne’s people, property and the environment. The lab has recently expanded the 9-1-1 system to include requests for non-emergency assistance with a goal of addressing relatively minor events or situations before they become more serious. In addition, we have changed our triage and dispatch procedures to ensure that the response is appropriate to the event or situation.
The reference cards include a reminder that the cell phone number to reach our 9-1-1 is 630-252-1911. Please take a few moments to program that number into your device.
If you are not on site on Sept. 11, you can pick up a card at the Argonne Information Center or the Building 213 Cafeteria Lobby through Friday, Sept. 14.
