Rapid Response Services added to the Argonne Service Desk

Argonne’s user friendly service request tool, the Argonne Service Desk, (Login required) is adding some new features.

Beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2015, users will be able to submit requests for painting, carpentry and small remodeling projects to the FMS Rapid Response department using the online service catalog.

Login at http://help.anl.gov (Login required) using your Argonne credentials to report a concern, make a service request, check the status of an active request or browse the knowledge base. The service desk provides a single entry point for all mission support services and routes your request to the appropriate service providers for a quick resolution.

In addition to the recently added services, users are able to request building related services, IT support or report safety concerns using the service catalog, all online. In the next months, additional missions support services will be added to the service catalog as they become available.

Employees are asked to use the new web-based Argonne Service Desk (Login required) to expedite service requests instead of a phone call or email.

For more information contact Robert J. Einspar (FMS), Continuous Improvement Engineer, by email at reinspar@anl.gov or by phone at extension 2-2449.
