Managing Employee Issues
Human Resources will offer a supervisory course, “Managing Employee Issues (HR643)” on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Bldg. 240, Rm. 1404-1405.
The supervisor at Argonne takes on significant responsibilities along with the job title. This workshop provides supervisors and managers a clear understanding of the laws governing the workplace and the translation of those laws into Argonne procedures. Guidance is provided on how to effectively manage issues such as poor performance, excessive absenteeism, misconduct, safety violations, sexual harassment, and fitness for duty. Argonne-specific case examples are used to reinforce key concepts.
