MyArgonne: Our new intranet has a personal touch
The first rollout of MyArgonne, the lab’s new intranet, arrives Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, and once you log in you’ll discover easy-to-use, personalized content. For example, with one click on the home page, you can view your vacation and sick day accruals, vacation accrual rate, and floating holiday availability.
You will also enjoy one-click access to your Vector dashboard, so you can monitor the status of support tickets and requests. And those who occasionally forget nearing deadlines for required Training Management System (TMS) courses will appreciate the reminders appearing on their MyArgonne home page.
All of these new intranet features, as well as user-configurable elements, are made possible by the requirement of a log-in, even while on the Argonne campus. However, off-site MyArgonne users will no longer need VPN to access most MyArgonne content and many of the applications to which it links.
Additional personalized features will arrive on MyArgonne in the coming months.
